Jimmy was born in Costa Rica. From the time he was a baby, his older sister, Marjorie, took care of him as their Mom had an alcohol problem. She often left the children alone in the neighborhood, and they had very little food to eat much of the time.
At the age of 15 months, Jimmy came to live at CICRIN, along with his sister, Marjorie. Another brother, Luis, was already living at CICRIN. Jimmy was suffering from malnutrition, but with a proper diet, he quickly became a healthy boy who was soon involved in the activities at CICRIN.
Jimmy is presently in Preschool. He is a very smart boy who learns his Bible verses very quickly. He loves to sing and dance, run, walk, play at the playground and go on trips. His favorite foods are cookies, candies and fruit.
