Jefferson came to CICRIN in March, 2000 because of his home situation. His biological father’s work involves traveling around the country. The boy worked with his father, being deprived of an education. When his father drank, he became very aggressive and would hit Jefferson.
Jefferson was admitted to CICRIN March 24, 2000. His father has only visited him twice since he was admitted. Jefferson stays calm and says his family is the people that live with him at the orphanage.

He maintains good relations with the people around him. Jefferson is very obedient and is a child, who despite his past, always shows his happiness.
He does very well in his classes; he is in the fourth grade and is one of the best students. His teacher says Jefferson is very applied and an excellent student. He doesn't show any problems with the other students.
Occasionally, he has fits of anger or rebellion, but the situations are always resolved quickly. He is very collaborative, he works on whatever task he is given, and helps with the choirs everyday.
Sometimes Jefferson tells stories of his previous life and the misfortunes that would happen to him. Now, as if he were an adult, Jefferson values everything he has and the opportunities given to him. He enjoys soccer like most of his friends; the boys sometimes challenge a local team in a match. His development is normal and he is a very healthy boy.
